STUDIO GALLERY

I was born and raised in Tokyo and have devoted my life to the study, creation, and teaching of Japanese pottery and ceramics. I am currently based in Montmorency, where I create my work and share my expertise through pottery classes and workshops from my studio.

All of my pieces are handmade and thoughtfully designed with purpose. They are created to be used in everyday life, while also standing on their own as quiet, considered objects.

Although I have lived away from Japan for over 18 years, Japanese culture, landscapes, and ways of seeing remain central to my practice. Through form, texture, and tone, I seek to evoke a gentle connection to nature and tradition. Each piece is carefully crafted to integrate into daily rituals, carrying with it a sense of place, memory, and calm richness.
